David Grogan spends his time leading and studying transformational change in government, defense, and technology sector organizations that deliver complex information services to a wide and diverse customer set.

As a general manager, president, and COO David successfully led several business units and companies through the challenging period associated with mergers and acquisitions. During a 20-year military career, he served in the infantry, military intelligence, and as an Arabic speaking Foreign Area Officer (FAO) with assignments in the 82nd Airborne Division, 3rd Infantry Division, 1st Armored Division, United Nations, and US Embassies Abroad. His Army experience included over a dozen years overseas highlighted by multiple combat tours and duty throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
David’s recent doctoral studies focused on designing sustainable businesses that benefit the environment, the economy, and society. His dissertation investigated improving value creation following mergers and acquisitions. His award winning doctoral research centered on the experiences and decisions of acquired executives and other key leaders during post-merger integration.
