In addition to his consulting work, Edward Straub is also a program manager and researcher with the US Army. He is responsible for a unique program which takes an innovative, alternative approach to transitioning technology. Mr. Straub has led this program from concept development through planning & coordination to deployment. He has presented to cabinet-level executives at the White House and international audiences.
Mr. Straub’s previous experience includes consultant and senior strategic planner supporting automotive, utilities, and defense clients on acquisition, supply chain management, and software system integration projects. As a Marine Corps Officer, he served as the senior program manager for Buildings, Health and Education reconstruction projects in Baghdad, Iraq as well as a combat engineer company commander in Ar Ramadi, Iraq.
Mr. Straub earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology in 1994 and his Master of Business Administration in 2002. Mr. Straub is currently studying team dynamics and the social impact of automated vehicles. He will complete his doctor of management degree at Case Western Reserve University in 2015.
Other education experiences include: Certified SAP Consultant from the SAP Academy (2002); Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (2009); and Masters Certificate, IS/IT Project Management from Villanova University (2009).
